If you like to have your entire computing experience within your FireFox window, you might be interested in accessing your POP email accounts directly in FireFox. The Simple Mail extension gives you this functionality, and true to the name it’s very simple.
Get the extension by clicking here and restart FireFox after that then continue ahead.

1. After installation, you should notice the little mail icon in the status bar, right-click it and open the preferences to add your new account.
2. Click on add to add a new account.
3. Enter the account name, your email address and the reply address ( if its different) and edit any other setting you may want to.
4.Then click on the POP3/IMAP tab and choose POP3. Add the relevant details provided by your email provider including your user name and password.
5. Now go to the SMTP tab and again add the relevant details including user name and password.
6. That's it. You have successfully configured your POP3 mail account to use with Simple mail extension in FireFox.
Additional Help :
Composing a new mail : To create a new mail click where the arrow is shown in image and you will be taken to the window where you can type the mail and the email address of the receiver.
Checking Mail : To check your mail, click where the arrow points.
